Mobile Legends Diamonds in Kenya — Prices, What They Buy, and How to Redeem with M-Pesa

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang runs on diamonds — the skins, the Starlight pass, the emotes, the recall effects. And in Kenya, buying diamonds is where most players get stuck: the in-app purchase wants a card that gets declined, the "cheap diamonds" WhatsApp seller wants your login, and Codashop wants a payment method you don't have. This is the straightforward way: a diamond code, paid with M-Pesa, redeemed on the official Mobile Legends site in two minutes. Updated September 2026.

    What you're buying

A Mobile Legends diamond code is an official top-up voucher. You redeem it on Moonton's own code-exchange page against your Game ID, and the diamonds land in your account — the same diamonds you'd get from the in-app shop, on any server, in any country. Nothing is added to your account by a third party and nobody needs your password.

Prices exclude VAT. The code is emailed within a minute of your M-Pesa payment confirming.

The last column is the one to read. The $0.99 card is there for a single small buy; from $4.99 upwards the price per diamond drops steadily, and the $49.99 card is the cheapest diamonds we sell. If you know you'll buy Starlight every month, the bigger card pays for itself in two months.

Skin prices move with events and discounts, so treat the skin rows as a guide; the Starlight prices are fixed by Moonton.

What a year of Mobile Legends costs

Starlight is 300 diamonds a month, so a full year is 3,600 diamonds. Bought as one $49.99 card (3,005) plus one $9.99 card (571) that is 3,576 diamonds for KSh 10,798 — about KSh 900 a month, with 24 diamonds short of the twelfth month that a $0.99 card more than covers. Bought monthly as $9.99 cards instead, the same year costs KSh 21,588. The bigger card saves you the price of a month and a half.

If you skip Starlight and only buy the occasional skin, the $19.99 card twice a year covers two Epic skins for KSh 7,198 — which is less than many players spend in a single Codashop session at inflated "fast delivery" prices.

How to redeem — the official way

    1. Find your Game ID and Server ID. In Mobile Legends, tap your profile picture at the top left. The number under your name looks like 12345678 (1234) — the first part is your Game ID, the part in brackets is your Server ID.
    2. Go to the official code-exchange page: m.mobilelegends.com/en/codexchange. It's Moonton's own site; don't use anything else.
    3. Enter your Game ID and Server ID and tap Send. A verification code arrives in your in-game mailbox — keep the game open, copy it from there, and enter it on the page.
    4. Enter the redemption code we emailed you. The diamonds appear in your account immediately.

The whole thing takes two minutes. If the in-game mailbox message doesn't arrive, close and reopen the game — it's the most common hiccup and it's on Moonton's side, not ours.

Why not the WhatsApp diamond sellers?

Because the cheap ones are cheap for a reason. Diamonds bought with stolen cards get clawed back by Moonton, and the account that received them gets a "negative diamond" balance or a ban. Sellers who ask for your login are a different risk — you've handed over an account you may have spent years on. A code you redeem yourself, against your own Game ID, is the only way to add diamonds without giving anyone access to anything.

    Frequently asked questions

Does this work on any server?

Yes. The code is redeemed against your own Game ID and Server ID, so it works whichever server you play on. There's no region to get wrong.

Why do the diamond counts look odd — 278, 571, 1,167?

Those are the exact counts on the official vouchers, including the bonus diamonds Moonton adds to each tier. A $4.99 voucher is 278 diamonds, not 250.

Can I buy several codes and redeem them all?

Yes. Each code is redeemed separately on the same page and the diamonds add up.

Can I redeem it for a friend?

Yes — enter their Game ID and Server ID on the code-exchange page. They'll need to send you the verification code from their in-game mailbox.

What if I entered the wrong Game ID?

Once a code is redeemed to an ID, Moonton can't move the diamonds. Check the number twice before you tap Send.

    Is this refundable?

Only if we fail to deliver the code. Once the code is in your inbox it's a live voucher.
