    iTey StoreiTey Store
    An honest answer

    Is iTey Store legit?

Short answer: yes — and you should not take our word for it. Buying a phone or a console online in Kenya means handing real money to someone you have never met, and plenty of people have been burned doing it. So here is how to check us, using things you can verify yourself rather than promises we make about ourselves.

    Walk in and see us

Cookie House, Accra Road, 3rd Floor, Store 311, Nairobi CBD. Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 7 PM. A scam does not pay CBD rent, and it does not invite you to turn up in person. Come and buy over the counter if you would rather not pay online at all.

    Read reviews we didn't write

4.9 out of 5 from more than 150 Google reviews, plus an independent Trustpilot page. We cannot edit either of them. Read the bad ones as well as the good ones — that is the point of them.

    Trading since 2022

iTey Store has been selling in Nairobi since 2022, at the same address. Scam shops do not last three years in the same physical location with their name on the door.

    Call before you pay

+254 727 415 589 or +254 706 097 118, during shop hours. A person picks up. Ask us anything you like — including awkward questions about a product you have seen cheaper somewhere else.

What we will never ask you to do

People do impersonate real Kenyan shops. Knowing what we never do makes a fake easy to spot:

    • Send M-Pesa to a personal number — our payment is a secure prompt to your phone, with no paybill or till to type
    • Pay a "clearing fee", "customs fee" or "release fee" after you have already paid
    • Move the conversation to a different phone number mid-order
    • Pay before you have an order reference from us

If any of that happens, stop and call +254 727 415 589 before you send anything.

How to spot a fake tech seller in Kenya

This applies to anyone you buy from, us included. Walk away if you see:

    • Anyone asking you to send M-Pesa to a personal number or a till that isn't on our checkout
    • A price far below everyone else in Nairobi for a sealed, current-model device
    • Pressure to pay immediately before you have seen the item or the shop
    • A seller with no physical address, or an address that changes
    • Payment requested through a social media DM from an account you can't verify

    Straight answers

    Is iTey Store a scam?

No. iTey Store is a physical retailer operating from Cookie House, Accra Road, 3rd Floor, Store 311, Nairobi CBD, and has traded since 2022. You can walk in during opening hours, inspect what you are buying and pay over the counter. We are rated 4.9 out of 5 across more than 150 Google reviews and also listed independently on Trustpilot.

How do I know the products are genuine and not grey imports?

Everything is sourced through licensed distributors and carries the manufacturer's warranty — Apple's own international warranty on Apple products, Samsung Kenya's on Samsung phones, Sony's on PlayStation. You can verify an Apple serial number yourself at checkcoverage.apple.com before you leave the shop. We are not a grey-market importer.

Is it safe to pay by M-Pesa on the website?

Yes. Payment is a secure Lipa na M-Pesa prompt sent to your phone — there is no paybill or till number for you to type in. Nobody from iTey Store will ever ask you to send money to a personal number. If someone claiming to be us asks for that, it is not us: stop, and call +254 727 415 589.

What happens if something goes wrong with my order?

You have 7 days to bring an item back for an exchange, provided it is complete and undamaged. Faulty items are covered by the manufacturer's warranty — we replace, repair or exchange. Money is refunded when the fault is ours and there is nothing to exchange it for. The full policy is published at iteystore.co.ke/returns.

Do you have a physical shop I can visit?

Yes — Cookie House, Accra Road, 3rd Floor, Store 311, Nairobi CBD 00100. Open Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 7 PM, closed on Sundays. Walk-ins are welcome and you are free to inspect anything before paying.

Are you an Apple Authorised Service Provider?

No, and we say so plainly. iTey Store is an independent retailer and repair specialist. Mac & More Solutions holds the Apple Authorised Service Provider credential in Kenya — for in-warranty Apple repairs, use them, because that preserves the manufacturer warranty. We would rather tell you that than take work we are not the right place for.

    Still not sure?

Then do not pay online. Come to the shop, look at the item, and pay over the counter — Cookie House, Accra Road, 3rd Floor, Store 311, Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 7 PM. Or WhatsApp +254 727 415 589 and ask us anything first. We would rather answer ten questions than have you send money you are uneasy about.
