A Wi-Fi iPad only connects through a router or a phone hotspot. A Cellular one takes a Safaricom, Airtel or Telkom line of its own, so it works anywhere there is signal. Cellular adds roughly KSh 12,000 to KSh 20,000 depending on the model. If the iPad will mostly live at home or the office, Wi-Fi is the better buy.
